National Family Mortgage ® helps families create safe, legal, and IRS-compliant mortgage loans between relatives. Many families choose to use professional third-party loan servicing to help keep their loans business-like and properly administered over time.
For supported transactions, family mortgage documents are emailed to the settlement agent for execution and recording at the real estate / loan closing. The family Lender disburses funds directly to settlement.
We only support intrafamily mortgage loans that are completed through a formal closing with a licensed attorney, title company, or escrow company.
